About Tamanique

Located just 20 minutes from the La Libertad coast is the town of Tamanique. It is a place of cliffs and mountains where you can combine a beach experience just minutes away.

Along the route that will take you to the town you will find a beautiful lookout called “Ojos del Sunzal” that directs your view toward Sunzal Beach where the beauty of the coast blends with the dry-forest atmosphere characteristic of the area.

From the town you can head to the Tamanique Waterfalls or go to the beaches of the La Libertad coast, adding more experiences to your tour of El Salvador.
