Cascadas de Tamanique

Composed of 4 waterfalls, where you will test your courage and adventurous spirit, located in the town of Tamanique and waiting for you.

In the first and second waterfalls you can jump into the pools; and in the others, besides swimming, you will enjoy the beautiful panoramic views of the area.

If you like hiking and adventure, the best thing is to reach the fourth waterfall; you will have to walk 2 kilometers and a few meters before arriving, and you will need rope assistance to descend, experiencing a unique thrill that will make you love the place.

The waterfalls are nestled in the mountains and have different heights and levels of access difficulty as they move downstream. The main one has a majestic drop of more than 40 meters. In addition, you can enjoy a refreshing dip in its pools, inviting you to cool off after the hike.

One advantage is that you can hire local guides; they stay at the central park of Tamanique every day. The establishment’s hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The approximate cost is $7.00 per person, including guide and assistance if needed.
