About San Salvador

San Salvador is the capital of El Salvador, and the city with the greatest convergence in the country. It is the starting point for any adventure and the perfect place to experience multiple activities. Here you will find a variety of options for leisure, business, and culturally valuable experiences.

Its climate is quite warm and can vary within a single day. Temperatures can shift from slightly hot to a cooler atmosphere in the afternoon.

In this city, located just 40 kilometers from the International Airport, you will find government headquarters, the main companies in economics, development, and telecommunications, embassies, boutique hotels with great charm, and five-star hotels; as well as museums, monuments, and residential neighborhoods.

Ideal for shopping tourism, San Salvador hosts modern shopping centers where you will find internationally renowned brands, as well as valuable local brands.

The heart of the city is its Historic Center. Surrounded by small shops that showcase the everyday commerce of the city, it is also an important point for culture and history.

Beautified by its impressive plazas, as well as scenic spaces such as the country’s most important National Theater, it is followed by its Metropolitan Cathedral and the National Palace. In addition, other Catholic centers of great historical and cultural relevance are located there, which you should not miss visiting.
