About Santa Tecla
Santa Tecla is the most important city in the department of La Libertad, with a historic richness that is stamped on its colonial infrastructure and blends with modernity.
This destination is surrounded by vegetation, which gives it a pleasant climate most of the day. Wherever you go you will find many green landscapes both in its urban and rural areas, the most imposing being its route to volcano El Boquerón, which gathers a string of restaurants, bars and beautiful cafés that offer a view of the city of San Salvador and Santa Tecla.
El Boquerón is a few minutes from the center of Santa Tecla, allowing you to experience two different atmospheres: city and mountain in just 15 minutes apart.
It is a city that can be easily explored on foot, letting you admire the colonial architecture in its old houses that are now occupied by businesses. Among the styles of its infrastructure are eclectic, neo-Gothic, Art Nouveau, and neo-Baroque.
