Parque Recreativo Sihuatehuacán

Santa Ana

About Parque Recreativo Sihuatehuacán

Its name in Nahuatl means: “City of the Priestesses,” “Pitonisas or Witch-women.” It is located east of the “Ciudad Morena” of Santa Ana, 65 kilometers from the capital city, and was inaugurated in 1973.

This park is of volcanic origin, offers a warm climate, and its three refreshing pools fed with spring water that arise within it provide the best combination of nature and coolness across its 9.5 acre area, with walking trails where you can be in contact with the environment and enjoy beautiful gardens.

Sihuatehuacán offers its visitors modern family cabins, a picnic area, parking lot, skating rink, restaurants, a large outdoor amphitheater with a capacity for one thousand people, and a modern futsal court, among other attractions.
