Salinitas
Acajutla: Sonsonate Oeste
About Salinitas
Grayish sand, rocky areas, and reefs make this beach one of the most notable in the western part of the country. While its main activity is diving or snorkeling, other activities can be done such as kayaking, boat rides, enjoying a tan on its warm sand, a swim in its crystal-clear waters, and fishing.
This beach is home to a great diversity of marine species, including barracudas, rays, grouper, octopus, lobsters, angelfish, and parrotfish, among others, and you can also see in the distance the steam and sail ships that have been part of this beach since 1800.
