About Parque Nacional El Imposible

El Imposible is a jungle, tropical in some parts and subtropical in others. Located on the Sierra de Apaneca-Ilamatepeque, it has the greatest biodiversity in the country as part of a mature forest, typical of early Mesoamerica.

El Parque Nacional El Imposible, open to the public since 1997, offers the traveler: camping areas, an interpretation center, interpretive and conventional trails, viewpoints, community guides, as well as adequate infrastructure to accommodate visitors.
