¡Juayúa, a destination of landscapes and adventure!

In the midst of mountains and spectacular scenery lies Juayúa, another municipality of the Ruta de Las Flores, waiting for you with cool weather, full of landscapes and natural destinations in Sonsonate, in the western part of El Salvador.

The Seven Waterfalls, where you can climb or rappel on more than one; the Las Ranas lagoon, which is located in the Protected Natural Area of the same name; and Portezuelo Park, an ecological park in the middle of a misty forest are destinations you can enjoy in Juayúa.

You can also take tours of the city on horseback, in carriages, or by train.

In the historic center you will find craft shops, cafés, nurseries, restaurants, art galleries, and on weekends you can taste different dishes at its famous food festival.

You cannot miss visiting the church dedicated to the miraculous Black Christ, its beautiful and historic architecture, a draw for both locals and foreigners.
