About Volcán de San Vicente – Chinchontepec

An extreme adventure and hot-spring springs are part of the tourist offering from one of the highest volcanoes in El Salvador, also known as Chinchontepec.

Before starting the hike to ascend the volcano, on its slopes you can visit the “infernillos,” hot-spring springs that emit strong vapors and sulfuric smoke.

To climb this volcano, bring comfortable clothing, water, sunglasses, sunscreen, a cap, and appropriate footwear so you can have the best experience.

Regardless of what you choose to do, the adventure of ascending the imposing volcano is challenging but rewarding, because the landscapes and the contact with nature are worth it.
