Las Tunas
Conchagua: La Unión Sur
About Las Tunas
Because it is of volcanic origin, its black sand and rock formations that create small pools make it an attractive destination in this eastern part of the country.
Taking a dip in the “salt pools” that form, cooling off in the water and beside the waves, watching the waves crash against the rocks in the distance, or resting in the rustic cabins with palm-leaf roofs are some of the things you can do at this unique beach.
It has a small pier where you can enjoy boat rides, or buy freshly caught fish from the locals. Among its wide offering of fresh seafood are oysters and a great variety of sun-dried fish served on bamboo tables.
