Conchagua

Conchagua is a very small town located on the slopes of the volcano that shares its name. It is situated in the east of the country, in the department of La Unión.

It stands out as one of the most tourist-friendly destinations in the country. Among the main places to visit is the Conchagua volcano, where you can hike and take the best photos at the lookouts with panoramic views toward the Gulf of Fonseca, Honduras, and Nicaragua.
